The Fourth of July belongs to the Brush Rodeo, held July 2–4 at the Morgan County Fairgrounds on Ellsworth Street — bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, mutton bustin', a nightly beer garden, a July 4 parade and fireworks. There have been rodeos in Brush since the early 1900s and an organized rodeo association since the 1950s; it joined the Colorado Professional Rodeo Association in 2005. The rest of the year: the Brush Area Museum & Cultural Center at 314 S.
